Union Island Airport
Client: Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Construction by CCA Limited
Completion: December 2009
This project is scheduled in two phases. The first phase which completed in May 2009 included asphalt re-surfacing of the runway, taxi-way and apron, (an area of almost 250,000 sq feet), pavement markings and minor landscaping of the area.
The second phase which is currently on-going will entail the placement of rock armoring towards the western end of the landing strip, in order to improve the protection of the newly renovated infrastructure.
